The fat task-manager for windows!
Did you ever wanted to know why you can’t delete a specific file? Or who the father of a specific process is?
Process Explorer is tool to find that out. It’s developed by Sysinternals (a Microsoft company) and can be downloaded here(v12.01).
Just extract the executable file and run the program. Via “Options”>”Replace Task Manager” it’s possible to replace the Task Manager with the Process Explorer. Further more you can see an overview of the running processes and if you click at one in the lower section, a list with handles and threads opens. By pressing “Ctrl + F” a window for searching a process, handle or dll appears.
A very useful tool, Mavi
